Being part of a high-risk population for COVID-19 infection does not mean that you are powerless to protect yourself from becoming infected. By choosing to get vaccinated, you are choosing to protect yourself, your family, your friends, and your community from COVID-19.
Committed and invested community members like you are needed to act as trusted ambassadors.

A CALL TO ACTION:
Because the COVID-19 pandemic has most severely impacted Black communities throughout New York State and across the nation, it is in these communities where information and outreach must be concentrated and shared with urgency. Committed and invested community members like you are needed to act as trusted ambassadors.
IN THIS CRITICAL MOMENT WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO DO THE FOLLOWING:
• Learn more about COVID-19 prevention methods and why it is important to educate your community about the vaccine.
• Talk to your community about COVID-19 prevention.
• Mobilize your community to get active in sharing verified information with others in the neighborhood.
